The app deserves five stars (*****) which I will gladly change it to once the two following bugs are fixed. NOTE: I am only marking this with one star to make sure the developer sees this message. I’m just glad it’s working because it would have been tough continuing my weight loss if it didn’t get rectified.

I deleted and restarted the app, turned the phone off and back on and changed the activity level and it has been working okay. It is a shame because I successfully lost weight using it, but now I don’t know what to do. If it doesn’t I’m lost as to what can be done. It happened when I first switched phones but went back. But I just switched the other day and the problem just started tonight. Not sure if it has anything to do with me switching to iPhone pro13.

Now I have no idea how to get it back to where it was and how to continue using the app as it was working great.

It seems like the daily goal changed on its own and went all the way back to when I started. The app now shows I consistently went over allotted calories. All of a sudden something changed in the app. I was very diligent staying within the goal. I started in May at 246.5 pounds and got down to 209. Overall I would say don’t bother with this one. I wrote back to clarify that I wanted to cancel and still haven’t heard back it’s now been three and a half weeks. The person who responded (three days later) gave me tips for viewing my membership. I contacted customer service to request to cancel my membership. In the end I didn’t see how the gold membership provided any added improvement to the usefulness of the app or to my own efforts around fitness and nutrition. And the tracking macros feature didn’t work as far as I could tell. The Stronger challenge is also ridiculous-the grocery list for week one was about three pages long and so random. They will send you one document that you can only read in the app, with information you can find anywhere on the Livestrong website. However, I really do not recommend paying for the gold membership. But if you just want to loosely track activities and what you are eating, this app will do the trick. I had a hard time finding many of the things I eat in their database and ended up guessing a lot their portion size presets mostly didn’t make sense with the foods I was trying to enter either. This app is useful for tracking calories, though MyFitness Pal has way more products in their database than My Plate.
